Doing these together cuz I feel the same. Just don’t want them as coven skins. I loved it being an all female line. AND malphite entire skin could have been how they designed Tibbers for a Coven Annie skin. They’re nice just not for me.
Coven Ashe
Design wise is an A+ but why Ashe?! Least dark magic champion and I feel like kinda took a spot for witchy champ. Again less feathers in this set and I feel that could have really pushed it.
Coven Ahri
Ok we knew this one was coming and it’s good. I feel like it’s missing some umph. I wish her tails in game were darker and just had the pink glowing tips but blonde Ahri can kinda step on me.

This will sound odd to complain about but..
I wish Riot would make a black Shuriman champ. Shurima is an arab/african coded region which I adore, but there are a lot of black characters in LoR and yet there are no black Shuriman champs. Regardless I love the representation 😅
When I saw this piece on artstation, I myself got mad cuz I feel like there's no reason to whitewash a great character. The artist even still calls the piece "Senna". I see this happen so often, but listen even though erasing dark skin tones if hurtful don't be like this person.
I remember seeing this thumbnail when Senna came out and I just wish Project Senna pushed this level of dynamic in her splash.
I think these new Project splashes are rendered beautifully but composition wise are so meh. They’re very stiff poses and overly zoomed in on the champs. I just miss those hyper dynamic poses they usually do with Project skin. Splashes just didn’t sell me this time around 😢
