Some samples of pages you've already seen, but now scanned, mostly cleaned up & near final. I'll probably continue to tweak the color correcting a some more. Since I don't want to wreck the book, lots of digital edits have to be made along the crease (before & after shown).

This is a digitally cleaned up 4 page ad about Mario Bros. "Nintendo-Paks" (predating NES Game-Paks) which are conversion kits to turn old Donkey Kong, DK Jr., & Popeye machines into a Mario Bros. machine. The ad features lots of great artwork of the Bros. in their classic look.

A closer look at two of the finished illustrations and their sketch.

A little proof to my theory. In finding these sprites tonight I came across the prototype version of SMB2. Mario shares the same eyes as his Mario 3 sprite, as does Peach, right down to her pink eyes. They were also each 3 colors, as opposed to 4 in the final game.
