2/7 I have @GeorgeTakei powerful graphic memoir depicting the suffering of his family, and others, in the Japanese-AMERICAN internment camps. I place it next to the @MARCHTrilogy to make powerful connections with students.
My wife, the most inspiring teacher I've ever met, who NEVER calls out b/c she wants to be there for her kids, collapsed today from stress. I'm making her stay home tomorrow & she is now putting together a meaningful lesson. We can't keep this up. Please, take care of yourselves.
