Did you know that when I first made my Krampus, it was inspired by @Mali_Games's Christmas Reindeer piece she did that same year? Go check her out, she's a total goofball on twitch and does some awesome stuff.
Tonight, on the night proceeding the feast of Saint Nicolas, is #Krampusnacht. Hope that your children have been well behaved less they be hunted down by Krampus and never seen again.
Gruẞ vom Krampus mein freunde.
Krampus is said to punish wicked children during the winter months with anything from beating them with Birch branches to kidnapping and eating them. You can protect your home from him with decorations of pine or make an offering to him of candy and alcohol.
#FolkloreThursday
It's been a while since my last #FolkloreThursday. La Llorona, "The Weeping Woman", is a spirit from Mexico that brings misfortune to those that witness her. She wails and cries near rivers trying, but never finding, the children she once lost.

Taking it way back with my Eyes of Huggin watercolor painting. Did this flying pupper back in 2015 (still my favorite tbh)
Never consume food nor drink offered by Fae. Referred to as a "food chain", it is often used to trick humans into servitude, keep them trapped in the Fae's realm, or to simply kill them.

#folklorethursday last night was Krampusnacht. Where the Yule spirit was honoured and celebrated so that a bountiful harvest would be given and so naughty children wouldn't be beaten with his Birch bundle and taken away in his sack to be eaten!
Gruß vom Krampus!
