🔶 EGON SCHIELE
Born on this day, in 1890
Schiele’s wife, Edith, died, six months pregnant, of the 1918 flu. He died three days after her and, in the time between her death and his, made paintings of her - his favorite muse.
He was 28.

JEAN-LOUIS TRINTIGNANT
This one hurts.
My favorite film with Jean-Louis Trintignant, and my sentimental education:
Eric Rohmer's
“Ma nuit chez Maud.”
