An early doodle of an aasimar monk I’ve been daydreaming about. They were raised in the army as a special ops soldier. They’re seeking revenge against the captain who betrayed their unit, and in their dreams, a thunder god have been offering power in exchange of servitude.

i started this drawing to test my new computer setup and just kind of went a little wild from there. tried out lots of new brushes and layer techniques that I've never done before, so i had lots of fun.

so through some miracle i stumbled on this quick fix while i was just messing about. im not super good with values so my works often get a little flat, so I made a B&W layer and tweaked it and set it to overlay, which really seemed to help. Thought I'd just share this w y'all! :3
