Not only was there an obvious shift in dynamic but in the last cover they both have the gold bands on their wrists

Then there's Otabek who's stoic and silent but seems to have no trouble talking to Yuri and who views Yuri as strong and capable of achieving his goals. He never belittles/disrespects Yuri for his feminine appearance nor does he feed into Yuri's anger

Plus he's obviously smitten

I know I say this a lot but I really appreciate Yuri on Ice for not only having a canon mlm couple but for just how healthy the relationships between the characters are. They all found family in each other but they all also found someone to cherish and love. I think its beautiful
