And where there aren’t giant sentient insects there are whales as big as islands, prone to sucking up boats and smaller whales in the tar traps that seep from their backs.. the whales without the tar traps are smaller, but far toothier too. ( more old art ahoy😭)

The sentient bugs do have a name, tho the most common type occupating Carce amongst people are Drones; one of them is an ambassador to the Watch, and is highly deadly to all office plants kept within the halls ( old art but I’m on an AASB rant so suffer with me ok )
