"Golden sands" 2022
I remember this one took me a while to get right, but in the end the colours turned out exactly how I wanted them 💛
@InnaVjuzhanina Thought I'd go through my old artworks (at this point they're all old oops). That was both interesting & depressing 😂Fewer reds/more yellows than expected, plenty of blue. Here they are (Dishonored edition, lol)
Thanks for the artshare❤️ Seeing the variety here is truly amazing
Continuing with sharing my super old fanart for #Dishonored10 Dunno what it was about the whalers but they were always my favourite faction. Even made a whaler OC :) This was a quick study to get familiar with their design.
Felt like crap all day but I managed to get it together and work a little bit on it. Starting to look a bit more like Vi :) Also super happy with the colours! I just hope this isn't gonna be another unfinished painting added to the pile 🤞
"The first signs of change II" (2022)
A painting that found its way back to me after more than a year. I realise now that it's okay that it took me so long to finish it - my mindset and my creative practice has changed since and that's exactly what allowed me to finally do it💜
But my journey in art started with portraits. My biggest inspirations are characters from the games that I love most like Tomb Raider and Dishonored. It's been a long time since I last finished one, but I know that spark is still in there and will come out again eventually 🖤
But before that/during my time in college I was leaning more towards abstract expressionism. As I had the space and materials I was able to experiment more with acrylic painting and I had this back-and-forth process between the traditional medium and the digital. I still miss it.
Late to the party and it'll probably get lost anyway, but whatever. #VisibleWomen I'm Krisztina, fine art graduate/artist based in Scotland. These days I mostly do digital paintings, more landscape and nature inspired pieces while still sticking to my abstract style
Oh my gosh, I found this gem! My baby, my OC, Jess. What an ambitious painting this was! I actually kind of love it despite it being bad for obvious reasons.
I went through a whole purple phase in college so I have loads of abstract pieces, but I had to dig real deep for the illustrations.. Aaand now I miss Dishonored so much. Those were the times! Always painting something inspired by it. https://t.co/UoHwNjEZIr
