I dunno if anyone's interested in this, but I found some in-between stages of sections of my ZX Spectrum Edge 20th Anniversary GTA Vice City cover. Here's the Diaz section.
I've no new art to show you though I am working on stuff, particularly for Melkhior's Mansion, and seeing as Minecraft seems to be getting popular again, here's a little something I did for my son's 8th birthday 5 years ago.
@Rail_slave @reidrac @MonstersGo Yip, I'm very self aware when it comes to the Spectrum attributes! I like to see it as some sort of pop art, like my Stormtrooper helmet art. The close-up of my Edge GTA VC cover is a personal favourite - the non-bright square for the eyes, the actively showing of the attributes
Here's a very low resolution version of the full art which was cropped for the inlays.
Here we go, better versions of my ZX Spectrum Red Dead Redemption loading screens in a rubbish link to the RDR2 trailer released today. #RedDeadRedemptionII #RDR2 #ZXSpectrum
Before settling on the style that was eventually used in the final book, I did 2 versions of Steve Mayles portrait, in lo-res and hi-res, in a different style for his Foreward for the SNES/Super Famicom: a visual compendium.
I did a couple of variations of the title screen for @_GearsofGames_ aces interview with ZX Spectrum legend Bo Jangeborg of Fairlight fame. All will load perfectly fine into your Spectrum and here's the version without the banner. You can watch the film at https://t.co/4ZjKKNgg16
