It is revealed theres another room in the pit of failures, the one we saw in this Hollow Mind painting perhaps? We can see bones sticking out of two of the dirt piles, empty of any life. In the background we can see the infamous knife and also a rib cage we can assume is Caleb’s.

Belos has a secret opening to the pit we saw in King’s Tide. He crawls through the carcasses of different versions of his brother, where we catch a glimpse of some of the previous Golden Guards. Two of them the exact same ones we saw in Hollow Mind.

Theres a statue in the middle of their town, showing the two Wittebane brothers. One looking a lot like Hunter. Caleb is seen again in a tale told by Masha on the haunted hayride.

Kikimora leads King into a pit, claiming it was where the failures end up. Golden guard masks and bones were scattered everywhere, much like what we saw in Belos’ mind…but many, MANY more. We now know there were probably hundreds of grimwalkers.

Hollow Mind contains the most information on grimwalkers, including the big reveal that Hunter was from a long line of grimwalker clones, and was the one that looked the most like ‘him’ (which we assumed was the original, and the one depicted in most of the paintings in the bg).
