here's a quick sketch i was able to manage of my boy Maverick, i've been developing his personality more this week and will be updating his toyhouse accordingly at some point ^^

from what was supposed to be a quick sketch, turned out to be a complete piece! i've definitely been exploring in sketching styles this year and i've gotta say, i'm pretty happy with my experiments

and i'm super happy with this piece! :D

new approach to a sketch- instead of ridding of the base lines, i just detail in with a darker colour and turn the base lines into wee lil shading n details

i've had this sketch sitting since may
haven't been able to find motivation to draw recently, so i've been taking it easy
