It's a little challenging to portray Isis in blue as opposed to Nephthys' purple. But I do like a popular saying, "Blue is the love of the universe". Isis is a cosmic goddess who symbolises the love of the most divine of feminine forces.

When I designed Isis and Nephthys sisters, I gave the more romantic, night sky purple to Nephthys, as opposed to the blue for Isis, which symbolises the daytime sky and even the universe.

But while I will give my characters a wide range of romantic possibilities, in Horus's case, the object of his greatest affection is Seth, and who, when confronted by Horus, has feelings of regret, so he will be tender and caring in the details.

Hathor is often in red, for her title "the red mistress above all kings"; her eyes are garnet-red, reminiscent of the wine that intoxicated her as Sekhmet. As Hathor, her hair is the orange of the morning sun, but when she is Sekhmet, it changes to the white of the blazing sun.

Hathor is actually much older than Horus by generation; however, long ago she took the form of Sekhmet and punished the humans for Ra. When she came to her senses, she felt grief and guilt over the casualties she had caused, so she block out all her previous memories.

Not only does Seth have multiple relationships, but Horus is an equally important protagonist in my story alongside Osiris. He has many companions, including the goddess Hathor, though here they are more like gender-spanning buddies than lovers.🦅🐮

This was the last drawing I did on my phone before I bought my iPad. I referenced a Japanese manga artist for this drawing. Like the coming of spring again, Osiris will one day return to Seth, kiss all of Seth's wounds and tears ......😥💚💔
