Rukia is more like introverted person, while Orihime is the extrovert. They really complement each other. 💯

In conclusion, i need all people to STOP pitting them both against each other... moreover for the sake of a ship! Orihime & Rukia have their owm charms, their own traits & their own stories.

Compare them both is useless cuz they're totally different & have their own uniqueness.

++ So it hurts her when her friends (esp Ichigo) always came to help her as she's unable to help them. Simply, she just wanted everyone have a same treatment.

That's the reason why she relieved when Ichigo let her help him. It's her life purpose; you help me, let me help you.

3. Life purpose.

As result of their hard life, both Rukia & Orihime came up with different goals. Rukia didn't want to suffer as a stray dog anymore, so she decided to become a shinigami & live in Seireitei--in order to have a happy life. ++

++ Getting used to those conditions shaping up their personality traits.

Being a stray dog makes Rukia strong & tough woman, and being live all alone makes Orihime understands how it feels, the reason why she's always friendly & compassionate even to her enemies; she been there.

++ It all based on how & where they grew up.

Have to live by their own isn't easy. Rukia had to live as a "stray dog" in her district along with Renji, meanwhile Orihime since her brother died, she had to live all alone with support from her distant relatives. ++
