I still love the way Kubo put two sketches at the end of ch 282 & 283 to showed us how important Orihime to Ichigo's life. 🥹

Ch 282 - Ichigo restrained himself to go all out because of Orihime.

Ch 283 - Ichigo released himself; his true power, because of Orihime.

He's wrong. The strong bond between Ichigo & Orihime can even surpassed the death itself.

I also think Vasto Lorde Ichigo is the actual manifestation of a strong bond that Ichigo & Orihime had. The proof & also the answer to Ulq's question; what is it like to have "one heart".⤵️

I'm thinking maybe Kubo actually gave Ulquiorra the meaning of heart through Ichigo & Orihime's relationship.

Can it be seen if i rip this chest of yours = Ulq killed Ichigo by torn his chest.

If i crush your skull = A metaphor. Ulq broke Orihime's mental by killing Ichigo. ⤵️

As far as i know, only 5 characters who used this kanji (護=protect) to express their desire to protect the other ones.

Isshin to Masaki.
Zangetsu to Ichigo.
Ichigo to Orihime.
Orihime to Ichigo.

i'm amazed at how ichigo can still sense orihime in danger even though he couldn't hear her voice, was blind & couldn't even trace a reiatsu at all. wow.
