(not taking into account the art style) you can tell the left one is from the early 2010s but the right one seems more recent. the style evolution kinda seamless compared to other girls that are stuck in their debut era fashion-wise

i mean not to say that they've always been fashionable (in a modern lens) but they definitely transitioned to current era trends easier than idols like miho and aiko. fun to think about

speaking of, some cg idols designs/fashion kinda aged like fine wine but why? it's an interesting phenomemon, i think it's because of society preserving some subcultures (gyaru + goth [loli]) and making others obsolete in the current day (e.g. mori girl)
