All my paints have been packed away in boxes until the end of April😢as am having some work done in my kitchen-come-studio, so I had to go digital~schmigital for the #CliffCumberChallenge
Behold! Our all powerful leader, he who must be pleasured, the Great Gorgonzola himself:
.... mocked up a Kraken for my cryptid project on Procreate, and started to paint it. Painting still looks a bit shite at this point, but I promise it will look better when I finish it :) Want to paint it big on a wall at some point soon too.
Jumping on this self portrait wagon because I did one recently for a thing:
The reference the self portrait
left at the end.
Never mind, it worked in my head :)
And I enjoyed making all the little peekaboo doors and flaps in the book.
This one lives in the Brooklyn Sketchbook Library now. I hope to visit there again once life returns to normal. 2/?
Double selfie painted for the @theawesomepod self portrait challenge.
Me painting me as a murrrrrder bunny:
Q: How many times can she fuck up that left antler????
A: many, many times
And by the same crew, on another huge wall, one for the Star Wars peeps, another goddamn masterpiece.
One day when I grow up I want to paint like this.
Third pic is just me being arty farty with the sunlight :)
Wasn't going to do art stuffs tonight on @theawesomepod Drink&Draw 'cos I'm tiiiiired.
But it didn't feel right just sitting & watching, so I dug out a gelatine plate & knocked out a batch of monoprinted backgrounds for future paintings. (Frank as example of how I use them):
Better late than never?
*runs into the #Rosette party at about 1am, all out of breath and paint splattered, hoping everyone else hasn't yet packed up and gone home
@cgcumber @tinynoggin , all yours
Apologies for faint line across her nose, the scanner at my work is a bit pants
