Paladins face many perils while adventuring. Bandits, sinister mages, curses, ballooning out of control. Tycho is rather prone to the later. I'm sure he'll be fine...just as long as no one sticks him with a pin.

I'll never be able to fully explain it, but Tycho's just my go-to comfort character. I smile every time I see him. (and every time I think of a new way to terrorize him)
