#TodayinHistory in 1521, the 1st #baptism was officiated in the Philippines by Fr. Pedro de Valderrama of the Magellan-Elcano expedition. Rajah Humabon of Cebu & household, Rajah Colambu of Limasawa, queen and her entourage, and other inhabitants were baptized throughout the day.
