Hernán Pérez de Ulloa ordered the construction in the 15th century of the manor house of this branch of the Ulloa family, which occupied the entire perimeter of today's Palace of the Provincial Council.

All cities take on a special charm when they are seen from above. It is highly recommended to climb a tower so you can enjoy a different view of Cáceres.

Not every manor house had large dimensions, but their owners strived to proudly display the blazons that proved the nobility of their lineage.

It’s a manor house heavily distorted by successive renovations over the centuries. It has a double inner courtyard.
On both sides of the Renaissance window, there are two coats containing arms of Golfín and Toledo.

There’s absolutely nothing left of the former building from 15th C., although we can assume that it was one of the grandest palaces into the Old Town at that time, whose extension covered land now occupied by ⬇️
