i don’t share commissions i get on religious themes but extremely proud of this piece. i get to learn and do heavy research and this was a wonderful journey to experience through text and colour.

i’m not canadian, but it is my home away from home. reading about the indigenous children hit hard and felt the need to put brush to paper two weeks back. i didn’t feel to share this on canada day as it seemed insensitive to do so.

it’s been a time to reflect…
