for the eyes, i shade with a low opacity purpleish multiply layer and whatever im feeling that day
for the hair and clothes, i use a similar technique as with skin. i also add in an orange/red reflection from the skin on the dark parts of the clothes and hair closest to the face

every layer i use for shading is clipped to a base color, and i use a different base layer for hair, skin, and different pieces of clothing
the first layer i put on the skin is the lightest shadow. it goes most everywhere i think a shadow wld be
