Finally a release date!!! So excited!!

My favorite layout, I loved capturing the luster and glow of the gold and gems. With these established early on, I was able to finish the rest of the layouts and paints, 10 in total in a few months. It took a little longer since I was still working full time as a layout artist.

Probably the hardest shot in the sequence, it showcased the stage and action in a way that felt impactful and cool. Looking back, I wish I played the game while I did these so I had a better sense of what was beyond the stage, I would do it differently now!

This was actually the first layout I worked on per Spencer’s advice. At the time I only had a couple of screenshots, gameplay clips, and assets to reference from, so I tried to stick close to the art style of the game since it was so distinct and stylized.

It's been a while since I've posted anything, but I was graciously asked by Spencer to work on the animated Hades trailer for Supergiant games. Major props to all the animators, compositor, and sound designer, absolutely killed it!
