i know this is a cover so never necessarily a reflection of inside but this classic yana look kicks so much ass.

i also love that ending because it is orion escaping the anti-life mindset where his entire life has been dictated by his fight against darkseid that we see when he yells at the statue. he cares more for his friends and his mother. that is what motivates him now.

mixed feelings because of how separated it feels necessarily from the fourth world comics, but the climax feels like sequences of images Kirby must have had in his head for ages. Even for Kirby the scale and awe boggle the mind.
