We have entered a new lunar year, this one of the Metal Ox. A powerful animal the Ox, it helps bring in the prospects of a bountiful new year.
I surrounded the Ox with peony flowers and edged them in 22k gold leaf.

Boom boom boom

First finished piece in 2021. Started in the late summer of 2020 while doing some reflective meditation. I often feel that I am waiting, for something to echo back from the cosmic void. I do not know what I am waiting for... but I feel I am waiting all the same.
