little portrait bases on a drawing from @stanoeska_s been a big fan of her work so was super excited to make an interpretation based on one of her killer works 🖤

from the - transfiguration - series made some odd years ago; probably my first series that kept the steps of the "metamorphosis" in this case 3-4 steps.

a little old collab @TheoChron , probably one of the most challenging painting when it comes to forms which speaks to the amazing drawing from theo 🖤

The vast majority of the paintings i make celebrate that flatness and low contrast approach.. conceptually it always made sense adding to the stillness and melancholy.

the negative space/background and its value are a key player.
