I was looking back through my old art and my [insert thing]-sonas have had SUCH a consistent color scheme considering that 2/4 were from before I dyed my hair?? 🤔

Next I studied my references and sketched out where I was going to place embellishments on the doublet. More on that in a moment.

I also chose a pattern for the doublet. Weirdly, this late 1890s Butterick pattern seemed closest in terms of shape and how I wanted it to fit me.
