I think it's cool how in the IDW Sonic comics, this random sheep villager from Issue 2, named Lanolin, kept making cameos over the past few years and is now starring in the new Issue 57.
Neat to see to them graduate from a background OC to a full-fledged cast member.

Obviously, it's rad to see Mario characters be so expressive and detailed without any design aspects being compromised for the big screen but the Nintendo fan in me really appreciates how it's expanding on lore stuff instead of ignoring it. Pretty good first impression!
