With that said, most players will probably want to check out Labyrinth of Touhou 2 instead! The artwork/interface got a huge upgrade. It also adds passive/active skills to each char, along with subclasses like Guardian/Toxicologist with their own skills.

We also have Iku who can give a massive damage boost to an ally while also Paralyzing them. This works well with Remilia, who I've already stacked Paralyze resist gear on anyway. Iku also conveniently lowers enemy defense! I also pair her with Youmu to one shot things.

I also appreciate the synergy between characters (both explicit and implicit). For example, Remilia can make herself crazy strong but the skill Poisons/Paralyzes herself. China (her gatekeeper) can heal and remove these effects. Or you can wear status resistance equipment.
