Some more older sketches and development for Blacklight, plus some doodles that eventually became Coalcap and Seaspray. Though Seaspray more "replaced" the bottom left Night Light. (That one was based on a cat, Seaspray is based on horses. Coalcap is a van patterned cat.)

Some more, older Blacklight art featuring an idea for a saddle patch marking that I ultimately decided to scrap, and the first draft of her design. I wanted to get the effect of her looking more like an orca if she closed her eyes but never liked eyes inside the eyepatches

Blacklight is kinda rude. She was worse as a baby but shes calmed down a bit. Gave her parents hell. She's really smart, if hot headed and aggressive, and a capable hunter.

Spotty here is called Coalcap. Hes the friendliest of the three siblings and keeps Blacklight from starting too much shit and pulls Seaspray out of his shell.
