My Writer Sense is tingling. HUGE thanks to @PACillustration for this incredible card. I love how it bridges my background with @HorrorDNA with my present and future as a comics writer.
@ComicBookHerald Drawing Blood was really good. Waiting for that second volume.
@BenTheKahn Any time Saya in Deadly Class takes out her sword is awesome. Wes Craig is next level with his artwork.
9 - Dog Man. This is a kids comic that adults can love too. I've read all the books multiple times and they're so much fun. I still maintain the real main character is Petey because his arc is amazing, going from villain to reluctant father. Real growth!
8 - Star Power. A webcomic I've only read in collected format. This is a super fun sci-fi book that's building at a huge mythos. The story so far (across 5 volumes) has been so enjoyable. It's a bright, optimistic view of sci-fi.
5 - Nailbiter. Another horror title with a catching cover. I named this my #1 horror comic for 2 years in a row. It's a tense horror / thriller with a huge mystery that just builds and builds until a huge payoff.
3. Colder - You can't judge a book by its cover, but in this case, it works. I have a print of this cover on my wall. The series is just as creepy, if not moreso. A book that really stayed with me while I was writing for Horror DNA.
About a year ago, I set out to write comics instead of writing *about* them. This Kickstarter campaign for Femme Fatale & Tales of the Bizarre is exciting because I don't have one story in here, but two. One in each! Let me tell you about them. https://t.co/hV00eP8260
