Paths have crossed and misunderstandings are abound as two heroes do battle. Its Sonic vs Mega Man, the only heroes who can defeat the evil Doctor Eggman and the zany Doctor Wily.

One of the reasons Ian Flynn wants/wanted to get Team Hooligans into the main IDW Sonic comic in spite of the Classic-Modern split by Sonic Team is because he wants to help create a unified Sonic world, something that SEGA is near reluctant to do.

As said before, SEGA and crew can learn from Archie Sonic and find inspiration from it. In fact, they may be doing just that. Remember Sonic’s race car bed from Archie, that ended up in the movie. Since Sonic Forces seemed to be inspired by Sonic SatAM and since Takashi Iizuka (apparently) has respect for Western Sonic, is it possible that Iizuka and crew considered implementing Sally Acorn and crew into the game during production and SoJ rejected their pitch?

Oh sweet Jesus, everything's so Electro at the moment. We got the Jamie Fox Electro from The Amazing Spider Man 2 and we got Electro from the comics. Two Electros, wild, eh?

IDW Sonic may be fun, but just because it takes place after Forces, is inspired by the games with Sonic Team’s involvement and sells in Japan DOES NOT mean its canon. SEGA never confirmed its canon, Ian has expressed its non-canon status.
