I'm currently trying to put something together on #clickteamfusion for the quarantine. Having lots of fun, but putting the code together is def. less fun than making the animations. #indiegamedev #madewithfusion #pixelart

I also wanted to have a more varied background, but as soon as I figured I was too dumb for openBOR I made a single, horizontally tiling beach background. It looked decent enough to use on the title screen, too, I guess.

Once I realized how much trouble my brain was having getting around openBOR, though, I quickly scrapped the other playable characters. I kind dig the wrestling beetle and the Guy-esque penguin, but I could live without the chameleon

At some point I think I wanted Circe to have made all men into animals? So the main character would be Suola, the only human out of the crew.

Then there was Between Sea Salt and Sea Sand, that also has lots left behind. I've always loved beat'em'ups and wanted to get at least one out, even if really crude. I was also super into nautical chic stuff by then.
