That was a hot second, but behaviours are done! This is starting to feel like routine. Collisions (and projectiles in this case), move on the next boss, rinse and repeat.

Once I realized you could actually reach the fireball with the dash, I thought it would be a cool hidden trick, kinda line shine sparking in super metroid. Not sure if it will even be useful, but it looks pretty alright, I think.
The plan is to have a small game where you get 4 mobility power ups: dashing/headbutting, gliding, a fireball and doublejumping. Each comes from defeating a boss, no normal enemies around.
I'm currently trying to put something together on #clickteamfusion for the quarantine. Having lots of fun, but putting the code together is def. less fun than making the animations. #indiegamedev #madewithfusion #pixelart
I also wanted to have a more varied background, but as soon as I figured I was too dumb for openBOR I made a single, horizontally tiling beach background. It looked decent enough to use on the title screen, too, I guess.
Once I realized how much trouble my brain was having getting around openBOR, though, I quickly scrapped the other playable characters. I kind dig the wrestling beetle and the Guy-esque penguin, but I could live without the chameleon
