And then at the end I did a few water colory sketchy paintings for where they saw themselves in the future. Everyone and their NPCs who wanted to go traveling are thusly pictured together:

I quickly realized I would probably run out of time if everything was meticulously inked and colored, so it became a game of, "how fast can I make stuff and have it look good?" But with like 500 things to draw, I still had time to experiment + have fun
And way before the book, I got this frog art from @Hauntoad because it was adorable and hilarious, and because I had it, I made it the back cover.
Even though they don't speak the same language, the bard still manages to successfully flirt with a treant. Masterfully rendered by @stillerian
