26. Lots happened last year and honestly I’m not sure if my work has changed that much over the past couple of years but I’d like to think it has. 🤷🏻♀️ I guess I’ll update this once I turn 27 aha. I hope this was in some way insight full or useful to someone!
23. Went freelance! Not easy at all, finding work was hard and scary but I had really started to enjoy texture at this point and I think this is when I truly started to feel comfortable with the direction my art was going 😁
2nd year of uni @ 20 yo! Started enjoying pink yellow and blue…. And figuring out a character style! All hand drawn and scanned into photoshop at this point 😊
Starting off strong @ 14 years old. My teacher at the time used to encourage lots of experimentation with printmaking / colour which was always so fun. Definitely one of my biggest influences in perusing an arty career! I don’t think I’d done it if it wasn’t for him 😊
More 2011 fun!! And a bonus pic of me in graphics/illo class. I literally had the ✨best✨ teacher ever. He made a giant cardboard ‘kerning’ that we would move apart to demonstrate how kerning works.. how cool is that! Also the creepers, HUGE backcombed hair and skater skirt 🫥
Wooo! Merry Christmas folks!
Just wanna say a MASSIVE cheers to everyone that’s supported me in one way or another this year. Also the incredible Twitter community for just being so cool - Thankyou SO much 🥰 have the best holiday season all!! 💕🎄
Really enjoyed looking back at my self portraits from previous years and seeing my style develop 😊 I hadn’t really thought there was much development but I suppose there is! In order from top to bottom - 2022, 2020, 2018,2016 😊
