Friends is great. So is Seinfeld. Cheers. Roseanne. Will & Grace is hysterical, and Schitt's Creek is the best new sitcom since Arrested Development.
But I still think the #1 Sitcom of All-Time is The Mary Tyler Moore Show. The humor. The social commentary. It all holds up.

I am amazed how much CAPE FEAR got away with in 1962, just two years after Hitchcock broke barriers with PSYCHO. The content is still as shocking as it is socially relevant. The egg scene with its talk of “consent” bares early sparks of a conversation we’re still having today.
This is the real-life place that inspired my story, "The Road That Takes You There." I discovered it driving through the back roads of Indiana. Creeped me out. It screamed at me to write a story. You can read the opening of that story for free here: https://t.co/J1nt5El97d
Ok my favorite Jan-Michael Vincent movie? THE HAUNTING FEAR with Brinke Stevens, which I saw decades ago on @therealjoebob’s DRIVE IN THEATER. Classic. Those were the days.
