up and running making 4:3 artwork, trying to match my old style ... original vs tall ... considering adding some parallax layers as the engine now supports that for LONE WARRIOR

sad it killed FACTOR 5, i grew up playing TURRICAN. you can feel a lot of effort and even anguish went into this game’s troubled development. i’m thankful to the devs for that work, and sad more people didn’t appreciate it
just finished LAIR. my assessment of it stands, so underrated. the last couple of chapters were so spectacular. this is the game equiv of a cecil b demille picture, outlandishly spectacular. few other games have have given me those feelings, like ASURA’S WRATH and VANQUISH
done a bit more on this side. trees at the front need flattening probably, and the left one needs to curve inward more to the right.... this stuff takes ages, not that i mind...
end of day 1... i still have no idea what i’m doing, but doing detailing outside seemed to help
