Sad to see #DragaliaLost is being shut down. Glad we'll still get a final chapter at least. But before it goes I went and took way too many screenshots of my favorite adventurers I've fought with over the 3.5 years with their English VAs at the bottom. Thanks for a great time!

@TAYvanbiljon Covid really threw me for a loop when I got it in december. And the brain fog after was something wild even for normally forgetful me. Still not breathing quite the same. Take your time getting better. Ease into any exercises so you don't pass out. It can be a long recovery.

update: learned a lot of other tricks and became more comfortable with the tablet after drawing Mohan and Kamala so i went back to spruce up Astrid since she was the guinea pig. VERY happy with the changes.

Not done with Kamala because had to visit the Vavó today but here's some progress pics cause I did have to plan her design out a bit more!

Not entirely sure how much further i should push my luck with the hair but i added some hair shine and the ears back in and some face shadows.

okay two hours later and i think we've gotten some improvements. definitely the hair looks less "wet" and stuck to the face. Gonna try some shadows and highlights then probably delete it all for a try 3 haha

starting today off with a bigger forehead cause silly me forgot what makes a chibi cute is typically the big noggin. more real estate for hair too.

Also this is now a progress thread check back later for more. Mohan and Kamala on deck once i finish Astrid!

Messing around with a drawing tablet for the first time tonight. Started with 02 mousepad, now onto chibi Astrid from @FailedCrits. Haven't drawn since I was 10-ish. There were skill level and mental peaks and valleys tonight 🤣😭

@RobertJPreston I just changed jobs and let me tell you man, it's stressful but I found a place that will actually respect my time and I've been able to add more podcast/VA stuff into my schedule again. Jump ship you'll be happier. make a long term plan to get out of the 9-5 scene entirely.
