If you're not ready for it, this part in Twilight Princess WILL take you by surprise with how quickly the tone changes.
This is the hardest working man in Hyrule.
Can somehow even recognize you if you're a wolf.
Speaking of this part of the game, the very first boss might be one of the most forgettable boss fights in the entire series.
Deedra is fully aware that Dragonite's are often considered the least intimidating Dragon-type Pokémon due to their "cuddlier" looks...
...She is also aware that this belief is SOLELY held by those who've never had a quarter-ton reptile diving down at them at high speeds.
Gotta say. Out of all the pics I've done over the past 25 days. These 4 are my favorites. Because they're all ideas I wasn't even sure I could do a month ago, with body types and clothing that I've never drawn before, doing expressions I've never drawn before.
Posted this on Tumblr, wasn't sure if I wanted to post this here, but y'know what?
Have a festive, human!Deedra.
(Because yes, I'm using her to practice drawing human-like bodies now, too.)
I still cannot stress this enough. Drawing this dragon helped me get better at art. It helped me find a style that matched all the things I wanted.
Maybe it's the fact that her personality is one I made myself, but regardless, it did.
I think this might be the most expressive face of drawn, and I think it's because it's the first that's truly conveyed confusion/fear exactly like I wanted it to.
And of course, the first time I drew a human from this franchise. Not sure where the ideas for ANY of the outfits and accessories came from. I just added what felt right.
I can safely say that this time, last year, I couldn't have even dreamed of doing something like this. I could barely hold a pen right, let alone draw THIS man characters. It feels good, and I'm very grateful for the support you all gave me.
