I dunno why it took me this long to realize that there are literally four "Adams" in the Rebuild movies (as opposed to a visual flourish for the Second Impact) but got it, get it now, Eva-01, Mk0.9, and 13 are all made with Adams, Gendo's key artifact is one, got it, get it.

I really do love how, in contrast to retellings/adaptations where Dick enters Batman's gravity by way of Bruce adopting him or giving him a home, the very first Robin story literally has Batman kidnap the kid on basis of "ACAB" barely a minute after the kid's parents are dead.

I'm finally watching the wonderful and fun 2017 Shada, which of course means I'm simultaneously fixating on the Eighth Doctor version.

See, all that Morrison and Burnham’s Batman anniversary story has done is give me a mighty need of other “meanwhiles” of pulp villains/heroes around the 1939 Batman stories until he shows up like an explosion. Hugo Strange’s former nemesis, vampire hunters after the Monk, etc.

I'm very fond of how this has aged.

The Marvel Star Was comics during and between the releases of the original movies are genuinely God-tier.
