I took a mermay sketch from last year, a stingray inspired mermaid, and cleaned it up! Exploring colors is probably my favorite part of drawing mermaids. It's so much fun.

I am still working on some more ideas for witches, and decided they'll all have ice-y blue eyes. Regardless of species, this is the telltale sign they have rare magic abilities! Witches can be any type of mermaid. :D

Today is the first day of #mermay !

This month I'm going to focus on a lot of sketches and world exploration, but I think I should be able to participate every day.

These images are just some favorites from my first year participating. Totally don't regret it!

Finally done!! I'm so proud of this. Just a cute little maggot enjoying his apple next to a trash can. It will take some time, but this will be another 3D printed planter. :) I might do preorders on this since it will require a lot of prep work and painting.
