12 June 1549: Eight year-old Lady Jane Seymour (niece of Queen Janes) writes to theologians Martin Bucer & Paul Fagius thanking them for their gift of books. In 1557 the bodies of Bucer & Fagius were exhumed in & retrospectively burnt for heresy (GAP/BM/SJC)

12 June 1626: Mist rises off the after a freak storm near house, the Duke of Buckingham's residence. Londoners attribute it to the conjuring of John Lambe. They would stone Lambe to death in 1628.
