While we are all inspired by the story of Xiao Zhen Xie, I want to make sure we give awareness to the other elder that was attacked on the same day. And in my opinion he is equally as resilient.

Made this animation to pay tribute to Xiao Zhen Xie, the brave 76 year old Asian grandmother from San Francisco that fought off her attacker and put him in a stretcher.

75 year old Pak Ho was murdered in Oakland, CA after being attacked and robbed during his daily walk. He suffered traumatic brain injury after being punched in the face and knocked over. His head hit the pavement and died two days later.

On 3/9/21 this 83 yr old Korean halmeoni (Nancy Toh) was viciously attacked in NY. Her attacker walked up to her, spat in her face, and punched her in the nose. She fell and hit her head on the pavement and went unconscious, lying in a pool of her own blood.

On 2/16/21 Juanito Falcon (74) was on his morning walk when he was punched in the face for no apparent reason. The blow knocked Falcon to the ground, where he hit his head in the pavement. Falcon was rushed to the hospital where he died two days later.

Yong Zheng (46) was stabbed in the torso four times when he tried to stop a fight between thieves and Asian victims in Brooklyn. He was transported to the hospital where he later died of his injuries. He was worked as a bus driver and leaves behind a wife and two kids.
