While we are all inspired by the story of Xiao Zhen Xie, I want to make sure we give awareness to the other elder that was attacked on the same day. And in my opinion he is equally as resilient.

75 year old Pak Ho was murdered in Oakland, CA after being attacked and robbed during his daily walk. He suffered traumatic brain injury after being punched in the face and knocked over. His head hit the pavement and died two days later.

On 2/16/21 Juanito Falcon (74) was on his morning walk when he was punched in the face for no apparent reason. The blow knocked Falcon to the ground, where he hit his head in the pavement. Falcon was rushed to the hospital where he died two days later.

Yong Zheng (46) was stabbed in the torso four times when he tried to stop a fight between thieves and Asian victims in Brooklyn. He was transported to the hospital where he later died of his injuries. He was worked as a bus driver and leaves behind a wife and two kids.

One of the most horrifying and tragic stories I read about last year that never got mainstream coverage was the murder and rape of Ee Lee on September 16, 2020. She was brutally beaten, raped, and left for dead near a lake by a group of teens.
