I bend my knees & spin counter-clockwise, breaking Ferghus’s hold. I use my momentum to strike him in the ribs.

That’s to distract him; when he swivels to face me, I slam my palm into his solar plexus.

He gasps, inhales shakily, & starts to laugh.
