I did the other varieties by recoloring it. I had to, this guy was already quite elusive, even the 25th Anniv. Monster Book had only pictures of their sprites!
D'awww, this has to be my favorite spell illustration so far! It's for Morph in DQ4.
Still, I was always eager to find the remaining Stone Tablets to see what kind of crazy adventure awaited me next. Oh, and yes, what would be the boss I would be facing in each one. =)
...or maybe make the fragments fit anywhere a la Banjo-Kazooie or Super Mario 64, where the collectibles are not specific to only one world (or take Donkey Kong 64 for example, where the bananas are exclusive to each Kong, and is usually presented in a bad light).
Can it already be eleven years (twelve in Japan)? Thank you so much for introducing me to Dragon Quest and showing me that you can have an amazing story AND amazing & charismatic monsters!
