Some more pose studies this time using reference from Hung Gar, specifically the Iron Wire set! I chose to use Hung gar as a reference because I want the character to have strong arm movements and focus on punches, which this style is very Tiger oriented and ruthless in attacks.

I don't think I love them except for the bottom, but its very action and I think I want to explore some more serene martial arts poses like practicing form. I want the piece to feel like a ceremony.⁠

The asaro head I practiced eventually turned into this! I have heavy inspiration from Sergey Kolesov's work on Dishonored. It has been a great change in style and honestly a great lesson. I sincerely smooth my character faces too much!
