4)) "nausicaä: of the valley of the wind" : i see why this was one of miyazaki's golden stories. it was really good, nausicaä's strive for peace was so well written and the world felt very fleshed out and real with consequences for thier actions. 🐚👩‍🚀

2)) "porco rosso" : this was really lighthearted and makes me want a pig dad. it didn't feel like that long of a movie, but i liked the pacing anyway and i also loved the strong women in this film. 🐷🛩

so im going on a spree of watching underrated studio ghibli films.
1)) "from up on poppy hill" : i know its early, but so far out of all ghibli films i've seen, this is one of my favorites. so beautiful, i laughed, i cried. wow do i recommend. 🌅⛵
