But in all this mess, Shura remains the best. From start to end, he's perfect: (him reciting that poem about Ashura MY FUCKING HEART) 💖💖💖💖
The worst is that this apparent plan came from Hades? And Aiolos would follow it? Yeah nope, I'm not following that. It would have been logical if he believed that another Athena was the right one which led him to this crazy slope, but this? I'm just hating it so much...
This right here is the problem I have with this past. Even if he had to kill Aiolia, witness other people he cares about dying, he would never betray Athena. This is what defines Aiolos more than anything. Yet somehow we're supposed to believe Athena's death would prevent this?
Shura praising Aiolos' power is killing me, that first image, he almost looks like he's so admirative although he's being on the receiving end of those attacks 😂😂
I guess at this point I do not know the full story for Aiolos but for him to turn evil at this point, it could not just be another Athena misleading him and I fear the worst about that (hence my reluctance to read this manga in the first place). Aiolos giving me Kanon vibes 😂
My Saga/Shura loving self is VERY satisfied by those pages!! Shura's tears, Saga not wanting to ever let go of Shura no matter the pain 🥺🥺 AND FUCKING AIOLOS ATTACKING SAGA! This turn of events from canon is making it extra painful 😭😭😭
TW: beheading
True Shura's youth in canon was totally not depressing enough with Aiolos' killing, Okada thought it would be fun to make it EXTRA painful:
(But damn was it beautiful and perfect, I'll definitely include this more in my headcanon for his childhood)
He's talking/thinking about Aiolos I take no other answers 😭😭😭🥺 Fuck someone give this boy a hug already!
