Painting in-between Overwatch games, weird Sunday

Took a big dive out of my comfort zone switching from travel paint pans, to paint tubes. I keep making unwanted "hard edges"

Causes might be:
- I painted on a very old drawing (from 2016)
- the paper was garbage
- my travel painting habits don't translate well to tube paints
