"Clowns reenacting the Battle of Hastings, amateurish pencil drawing on notebook paper"
Need to keep in mind for the future that it should be LINED notebook paper. I wanted these to look like middle school scribbles. #MidjourneyAI #midjourney
With a new prompt, I changed "deep green night sky with bright clouds" to "bright green tea sky" and "optimistic atmosphere" to "mysterious atmosphere".
It took the "green tea" thing VERY literally, but the results were fun. #MidjourneyAI #midjourney
Upscales from the last batch of samples. I really like them, but they were getting a little too close to "Starry Night" for my taste. #MidjourneyAI #midjourney
Symbolist painting sample grids. With some keyword tweaks and some variants, I really liked where it was going. #MidjourneyAI #midjourney
Finally figured out how to change the aspect ratio for a prompt. But I also tried describing the moons as "dreamy pink", which mostly made the towers pink instead. And not just pink, MAGENTA.
It looks awful, but here you go. #MidjourneyAI #midjourney
Upscaled versions of all four samples from that last prompt.
In retrospect, these might have benefited from less rendering, which is an option they give you. Letting the AI add every bit of detail it possibly can makes everything look sinister. #MidjourneyAI #midjourney
Following the lead of other prompts I was seeing in the botchat, I dropped the artist reference and tried focusing more on color and mood.
The specific prompts are in the alt text, of course. #MidjourneyAI #midjourney
Only upscaled a few samples. They're pretty basic, but I like how they make the moon look infested. I also appreciate the crackling around the edges.
(And yes, Varo painted in oils, but her style looks a hell of a lot like tempera.) #MidjourneyAI #midjourney #HorrorArt
